Mitgliederversammlung: höhere Beiträge, kein Schatzmeister mehr
Ina Gottschall bleibt Abteilungsleiterin in einem allerdings nach dem Rücktritt von Tim Oehl nicht mehr kompletten Vorstand ohne Schatzmeister. Die Abteilungsbeiträge wurden gemäß dem Vorschlag der Abteilungsleitung deutlich erhöht.
03.05.2024TU rettet sich in der Bundesliga vorm Abstieg
Am letzten Doppelspieltag hat dem USV ein Sieg am Samstag gegen den SC Remagen Sinzig gereicht, um den Abstieg zu vermeiden. TU wurde Zwölfter mit 12:18 Punkten.
Roven Vogel offiziell zum GM ernannt – Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
Wie heute (27.4. 2024) bei der FIDE veröffentlicht wurde, hat das erste FIDE Council, welches vom 8.-13.4. stattfand, Rovens GM-Titel bestätigt.
Schachbundesliga: Spitzenreiter wankt gegen TU, fällt aber nicht
Der Klassenerhalt in der Schachbundesliga ist noch nicht sicher, aber der USV ist auf einem guten Weg. Dem ungeschlagenen Spitzenreiter SC Viernheim hätten die Dresdner beinahe ein erstes Unentschieden abgerungen.

Das Tabellenmittelfeld der Schachbundesliga ist enger zusammengerückt und daran hat auch der USV seinen Anteil.
